    Greetings to all:

    We want to start by wishing everyone the best for the New Year. Despite Mother Nature’s unkindness in not blessing us with as much snow as usual, skiing is fantastic. Thanks to Snowbird’s investment in snowmaking, and the excellent work of the mountain grooming crews, the mountain is in great shape. Also, Snowbird has opened the new Peruvian Quad ski lift and the Peruvian Tunnel. Be sure to visit www.snowbird.com for Resort updates and the latest snow reports.

  • Although renovations are not as common at this time of year, we are excited about our success with the building-wide wireless Internet access. It has been a great addition to the Iron Blosam. For those that have not heard, Iron Blosam now provides complimentary wireless access to all areas of the Iron Blosam. This is in addition to our business center internet access.
  • As always, we want to remind all our owners that it is important to respect your ownership and your valuable vacation time at the Iron Blosam. As owners it is important that you be informed. Things change and our policies and procedures are periodically reviewed and updated. We appreciate owners that take the time to review our House Rules and the Association’s policies and regulations. They are enacted to help everyone enjoy their valuable vacation time and to protect their financial investment at the Iron Blosam. Please help us maintain the units. We have maintenance staff available daily for minor repairs on almost anything in our units. Please report any items that need repairs to the Front Desk. We are happy to schedule repairs at a convenient time or after your departure.

  • At departure, please leave your unit in proper condition. We ask that you take the time to rinse dirty dishes, place them in the dishwasher, and turn the dishwasher on. If you have a lot of garbage throughout the week, let housekeeping know and they can pick it up periodically. Owners will be held financially accountable for units that are misused or require additional cleaning time above normal standards. Please remind your guests that the Iron Blosam is a smoke-free facility! For your information, our arrival and departure periods are the busiest times. Our 32-year-old elevators, limited space in loading areas, and staffing are usually beyond full capacity. Please pre-load vehicles for departure and be patient during these periods.

  • Please make careful note of your dates of ownership. Unfortunately, we occasionally have owners arrive the wrong week! When you receive your reservation confirmation, make careful notes of the dates of your week(s). As Iron Blosam is typically 100% sold out, it is very difficult for our staff to assist with unexpected arrivals of this nature. Iron Blosam weeks begin with the first Saturday of each new year. In 2006 the first Saturday was January 7th, therefore, your weeks may seem later than usual. Please note that in 2007, January 6th will be the start of week 1. Again, please make careful notes of your dates. After your week at Iron Blosam: Don’t forget to submit your photos, of your week, to our photo contest (online at www.ironblosam.net). Please take a moment to complete our online survey. Your input helps us maintain and improve our quality.
